Manitoba is one of Canada's Prairie Provinces. It is well known for its agriculture, culture and history. Much wilderness is protected in more than 80 provincial parks, where hiking, biking, canoeing, camping and fishing are all popular. Manitoba's capital and largest city, Winnipeg, is Canada's eighth-largest Census Metropolitan Area.
