In Memoriam:
John Ellis was synonymous with travel. He knew at an early age that he wanted to travel the world, and with that dream he became immersed in researching and studying foreign languages, different cultures, religions, music, food, and the varying arts from each region of the world. John started in the travel industry in 1954, and in 1979 opened an agency. John has been recognized by many of his peers in the industry over his countless years of organizing and escorting tours throughout the world. What made John standout from almost all others in the industry was his personal touch for the bookings he made for his clients and groups. It was with his incredible knowledge and contacts that elevated him to be one of the best in the industry. He was recognized as a master of his craft and able to orchestrate some of the most incredible, memorable experiences that no one else could deliver. He will forever be remembered as a virtuoso of travel orchestrating trips for many people over the years. His strong, professional work ethic, and knowledge of travel is carried on through the family agency by his wife, Mila Ellis, and his daughter, Natasha Ellis Ruess, and his son John Ellis.
